AKC Canine Good Citizen
The AKC’s Canine Good Citizen program is recognized as the gold standard for dog behavior. In CGC, dogs who pass the 10 step CGC test can earn a certificate and/or the official AKC CGC title. Dogs with the CGC title have the suffix, “CGC” after their names.
What you need to know
Prerequisites: This class is designed for students that have graduated from at least one manners or obedience class. Students who have taken my Life Skills or Basic Manners Curriculum, may be well prepped for this course. Students coming from other informal (at home) or formal training courses will need to be approved by instructor first.
Age Range: From 6 months on up.
Vaccination Requirement: Proof of vaccination is required before beginning classes.
Cost: $195.00
Sessions: 6
Class Length: 1 hour

AKC Canine Tricks
Come explore the possibilities beyond basic training.
NOVICE TRICK DOG (TKN)
The dog performs 10 skills from the Novice list. (see link to “Application” below for lists of skills). If a dog has a Canine Good Citizen (CGC) certificate or title on record at AKC, it can do 5 Novice tricks (CGC + 5) to earn the Novice title.
INTERMEDIATE TRICK DOG (TKI)
The dog must have the Novice title, plus perform 10 Intermediate tricks.
ADVANCED TRICK DOG (TKA)
The dog must have the Intermediate title, plus perform 5 tricks from the Advanced list.
TRICK DOG PERFORMER (TKP)
In this title, handlers perform a short routine with at least 10 tricks previously learned.

Rally FrEe
This class is a casual and fun class for people and dogs that are new to Rally and would like to begin learning about this sport.
A unique sport combining trick behaviors of Canine Musical Freestyle with the format of Rally-Obedience. It emphasizes the precise execution of fundamental freestyle and obedience skills while encouraging creative and novel behaviors on a Rally-Obedience style course.
Rally-FrEe is a competitive sport similar to Rally-Obedience (Rally-O). It adds in novel behaviors that are often considered “tricks,” such as leg weaves, spins, and bows.
